Foliar fungicide effects on soybean disease suppression, senescence and yield

Bruce Potter, University of Minnesota Department of Entomology and Southwest Research and Outreach Center Summary

Twelve foliar fungicides from four fungicide classes were applied to soybean singly and in tank applied at 3 timings. Yield responses were not observed with any fungicide application under a low foliar disease high yield environment.. At maturity several products had greater leaf retention than untreated. Differences in Brown spot and Pod and Stem blight between treatments were observed. Protein and oil, seed size and seed with disease symptoms did not differ between treatments.
